Greg Van Antwerp, community access supervisor at Charter Communications and self-described urban archaeologist, delves into the world of antique photos Nov. 8 at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library (733 Monroe Turnpike), a presentation sponsored jointly by the library and the Monroe Historical Society.

His appearance at 1:30 p.m. in the Ehlers Meeting Room is to be preceded by the society’s annual meeting and a video depicting the society’s Rail-Trails Tour last May.

Van Antwerp has been digging for antiquities for more than 30 years in estate, garage and tag sales. He is also a photographer, cartoonist and writer.
